Butterfly Script ATC's and Decoration

Darkroom Door - Friday, February 09, 2018

Hi, it's Helen Chilton here working with the lovely Butterfly Script stamp set. The images are just the right size for ATCs so that's what I created first.

Instructions:
1. Stamp the images in Archival black on glossy card and colour with Distress inkpads.
2. Cut to size and layer onto kraft cardstock. Add stitching (wobbly in my case!) and white highlighting.

4. Stamp the background in the Distress colours with the butterfly stamp and then overstamp one of the quotes in black. I've added three lines of stitching here.
5. Stamp and colour extra butterflies to all ATC's give dimension.
6. Add white doodling to the text for fun.

For my second project I converted what was a Christmas decoration into a little butterfly house.

Instructions:
1. Paint your house inside and out whatever colours you choose and stamp, cut and colour some butterflies - I used coloured pencils.
2. Cut a piece for the background and stamp with one of the scripts in Distress inkpads. Add text in black.

3. Assemble house and add details: embossing on the edges, glitter on the butterflies.

Supplies used:
Darkroom Door Butterfly Script Rubber Stamp Set
Archival inkpad: Jet Black
Distress Inkpads
White Marker
Coloured pencils
Stickles: Star Dust
Sewing machine

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
